  • Working with International law firms including but not limited to Baker & McKenzie, Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, Al Tamimi, Norton Rose Fulbright and others on various advisory matters relating to Pakistan environmental, tech, labor, data protection, bio health and safety, clean energy, surveillance, power purchase and distribution agreements and imports/exports laws and regulations.
  • Assisted United Bank Limited in alteration of company’s articles and memorandum of association to be in compliance with new amendments made by Pakistan’s Securities and Exchange Commission.
  • Advised on various contracts pertaining to, employment, engineering services, and other miscellaneous contracts and arrangements.
  • Conducted due diligence and prepared a report on companies’ corporate compliance for a multinational listed company and a multinational private limited company in Pakistan. 
  • Prepared a manual for the listed and private limited company for their future compliance with regulatory bodies in Pakistan.
  • Drafted and vetted various policies required by Pakistan Code of Corporate Governance 2019 (Code), such as company’s whistle blowing policy, related party transactions policy, corporate risk assessment policy, director’s remuneration policy and other policies recommended by the Code. ● Vetted company’s harassment policies to ensure they are in compliance with the harassment laws of Pakistan.
  • Vetting finance facility documents and other security documents for banks and private companies in Pakistan.
  • Vetting security package including Implementation Agreement, Right of Way Agreement, Fuel Transport Agreement, Finance Facility for an oil pipeline project. 
  • Advised on privatization options under the laws of Pakistan of a public non listed company in Pakistan. 
  • Advised merchants on applicability of State Bank of Pakistan’s issued rates of merchant discount and interchange reimbursement fees by banks.
  • Prepared a manual for a foreign bank on cross border (Foreign to Pakistan) marketing of banking products and other banking services.
