Sara Majeed, while assisting the senior partner of one of the leading firms in Pakistan, actively contributed to several seminal constitutional and human rights cases that have left an indelible mark on the legal landscape. One notable case, “Idara-e-Minhaj-Ul Quran” in 2017, stands as a testament to her expertise. In this landmark case, Sara played an instrumental role in establishing the recognition of the right to information as an intrinsic right in Pakistan.

Furthermore, Sara made significant contributions to the historic judgment of “Supreme Court Bar Association vs. Federation of Pakistan PLD 2022 SC 488”, which involved the interpretation of Article 63-A of the Constitution of Pakistan. Through comprehensive legal analysis, it was established that the concept of “unjust enrichment,” is relevant for the purposes of interpreting Article 63 A of the Constitution of Pakistan 1973.  This argument was based on the legal maxim of “Ex turpi causa non oritur actio.” The Supreme Court in view thereof held that defecting lawmakers’ votes in the legislative assembly would not be counted.

Also, she assisted the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in the drafting of Removal and Blocking of Unlawful Online Content (procedure, oversight and safeguards) Rules, 2020 in consultation with social media stakeholders, namely Facebook, Google, TikTok, Twitter etc.
