Overview
Manufacturers of products covered by EU CE-marking legislation must complete the required conformity assessment.
CE marking is not a universal EU export certificate, and products outside the covered legislation must not carry the mark.
For export transactions, distinguish a Pakistani export permission from destination-country import approval, customs documents and optional buyer certification. These are not interchangeable. The exporter should first confirm the exact product classification and the market to which goods will be shipped.
