Your business in Pakistan.
Our counsel on the ground.
For Chinese enterprises investing in, entering or operating in Pakistan. From selecting an establishment structure to negotiating project contracts and resolving commercial disputes, we advise on the Pakistani legal questions that shape the decision.
A route into Pakistan,
from first decision to daily operations.
Entry plans rarely end at incorporation. Corporate approvals, ownership arrangements, local contracts, taxes, employment, licences, project delivery and dispute management may all affect whether an investment works in practice. Our desk brings these issues together under Pakistani law, with instructions scoped to each business and sector.
Legal support across
the investment lifecycle.
Our work can be engaged for a discrete transaction, an operating company, a public or private project, or a dispute.

Practical starting points.
Before committing to an investment.
Must a Chinese investor establish a Pakistani company?
Not in every case. The appropriate structure depends on the proposed activities, legal presence, regulatory permissions, financing and tax considerations. The options should be assessed before commitments are signed.
Can a Chinese company claim Special Economic Zone incentives?
Eligibility depends on the applicable legal framework, approved zone and enterprise status, conditions and documentary compliance. No incentive should be assumed before the facts are checked.
Can the Desk act on a dispute under an EPC or supply contract?
Potentially, subject to conflicts, instructions and the relevant contract. The governing law, dispute clause, notices, records and limitation issues must be reviewed first.
